hand wringing over handrails
equation update
and I turn to see

this corvid squacks and stares
observe the subtle head weave
a fan of irredescent feather fills outstretched hopping mesmer dancing scenes
as it hoppens sunshine feathers
as it happens sunshine and feathers
each eye sizing me

Popplin' Gas Heart which appeared in a bi-annual publication of new writing called Conjunctions (1982)

the snippet as below:
bobby breen suave pompadours faced dwarfed by bow ties white stack up buttons... old girl with a mop and pale hairsock knee vain posture nurse white cracked scuffed brogues sole red strings violet waste... limp keyholder with glowing sun charged owl eyes tricks up her sleeve unbelievably fancy

who were really really really really really really
just nuts
for me
let’s retire rich
then we can lose our guts
invent a new way to do some drugs
after
the cardinals wake us up
warble out that sound
titillating tales of territory
as their

pink hearts float up
between the chalkmark stars
in a moonlight reflected fir tree

heres to good friends
tonight is kinda special
the beer you chose must mean something more
somehow
so tonight
let it be Lowenbrau

a recording of a recording of Eugene Von Bruenchenhein (1910–1983) from the Kohler Center for the Arts

excuses will run on and on
the dead will still be dead
and the country will still be in the red
so will the waste of every conscripted son
and the administration can soundly sleep
on human life they found so cheap
why worry about 20000 disrupted lives as long as the president survives it
worries (inaudible)
commitments utter
while the flag of peace still flutters

an observation from a visit to Taiwan

I emerged in a sophisticated way through silicone lips
from the garbage I assembled
a surprising lack of garbage

he smiled too early
sound rumbled up the hill
the dog yipped doing hyena
toenails and rhythm clicked on
birdseye maple floors
my understanding of this way required a unique form of apparatus
that’s basically how cows are born
as a hornless deformity
that’s basically how cows are born
with a hornless deformity

weatherman tell me how rain is formed
tear apart my doll and leave her laying all over the floor
weatherman tell me how rain is formed
weatherman tell me how rain is formed

she said
I don't want you to end up like that potato farmer down at potowatomi
potowatomi

I'll have the triple bypass
with a side of stroke
and a small plate of
artichoke heart dizzies

I am savory
for you
right
now
